This OSM point lies inside Sand Hill Scout Reservation, a 1,300-acre Scouting America camp off Cortez Blvd (SR 50) west of Brooksville. 'Fox Squirrel Trail' is not on the camp's 2026 campsite list. The camp's sites are tent campsites booked by Scout units and approved groups, not public RV sites.
Cancellation: The council does not refund camping reservations; any credit issued is for future camp reservations.
Other fees: Per person per night: improved sites (water, most with electricity) $0 in-council, $3 out-of-council, $5 outside groups; primitive sites the same. Fee schedule dated Sept 1, 2024.
