Location and directions
- Roads are not maintained for street vehicles; four-wheel drive may be needed.
Long-term and snowbird stays
- Membership requires owning at least 0.31 acre (100%) of River Ranch Acres property; dues cover member, spouse and children under 21.
Rules
- Since 2009 no new camps issued; camping on deeded lots, otherwise in the temporary camping area; leave nothing behind; guests may not have a campsite.
- Each owner may bring one annual guest (must stay with the owner); family and girlfriend/boyfriend passes also exist.
- No guests 5 days before and the first 9 days of general gun, archery and spring gobbler seasons.
- Gate open 24 hours, but guests, family and expired members cannot sign in overnight (Sun-Wed 10 PM-6 AM, Thu-Sat midnight-6 AM).
- Campfires only, never unattended; no firearms discharge in the camping area; 10 mph in camp area; no loud vehicles.
- No trailers larger than 12 ft wide and 400 sq ft; no permanent structures.
- ATVs and buggies need an ORV permit and flag; no dirt bikes, motorcycles or tracked vehicles; fast riding only at the Playpen.
